Kering-owned menswear label Brioni announced on Thursday the reopening of its Miami store at Bal Harbour Shops.

The brand revealed a completely renovated store with a style that combines iconic Italian design with a quintessential Art Deco aesthetic and a color palette inspired by the city.

The 180-square-meter space was designed to be both a store and a destination for customers. The intention was to build a space where the Brioni team can “nurture a deep emotional connection with the customer through a unique yet understated luxury experience,” the company said.

It is home to the house’s ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear collection, and it also houses Brioni Master Tailor, available by appointment for Bespoke service.

The Bal Harbour Miami store now features three areas in a continuous space, each characterized by different experiences and atmospheres, while all remaining elegant and sophisticated.

The first two rooms embrace a light and sunny colour palette, and feature walnut wooden walls and a curated collection of Italian and international furniture by the likes of Franco Albini, Gianfranco Frattini, and Afra, to name a few.

The third room, called Stanza Blu (Blue Room), is inspired by the Atlantic Ocean where a Pierre Frey blue linen wallpaper is paired with a monumental tapestry titled ‘Le Barche’, which was manufactured by M.I.T.A. in collaboration with artist Enrico Paulucci. Iconic furniture by Angelo Mangiarotti and Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni adds another Italian touch to the room.

Founded in Rome in 1945, Brioni has seen four creative directors and as many CEOs over the last five years. The space is intended to merge Brioni’s heritage, its roots and its tailoring tradition, with the present and the future.
