Canadian favourites such as Hilary MacMillan, Narces, Christopher Bates and Mikhael Kale have been confirmed for the fourth season of North America’s second largest Fashion Week.

They will be joined by up-and-coming designers including Zoran Dobric and Lesley Hampton, who is no stranger to the Canadian fashion scene.

“As the premier fashion event in Canada, we are dedicated to offering emerging Canadian talent, including models and designers, the opportunity to showcase their work and gain exposure alongside internationally recognized designers,” explained Greg Menzies, Executive Vice President & Project Lead, Yorkville Village – First Capital Realty Inc.

“Knowing this event is more than just a fashion show, our continued partnership with Re\Set allows us to focus on immersing guests in more dynamic, elevated experiences centred around fashion, food, culture and art throughout the growing Yorkville neighbourhood. Canada is a hotbed of culture and this is an opportunity to share it with the world.”

Once again, the Re\Set Designer Showroom, which offers a retail experience for both the public and guests of the event to meet and shop directly from designers throughout the duration of Toronto Fashion Week, will return.

Other returning events include Fashion Talks, a live podcast produced in partnership with CAFA, as well as the annual Fashion Heals event, a charitable fashion show, which aims to raise funds for The Hospital for Sick Children.

Following the cancelation of Toronto Fashion Week hosted by IMG Canada, the Canadian city saw a slew of new industry events pop-up including Re\Set, as well as the inauguration of TW.

The official Toronto fashion showcase was purchased by Peter Freed, president of Freed Developments, in December, 2016.

Toronto Fashion Week will take place in Yorkville Village. The official list of designers participating in the showcase is still yet to be announced.
