The clothing collection includes a range of items from graphic t-shirts, hoodies, and joggers, to accessories like hats, and backpacks, branded with inspirational messages that the influencer often promotes like "Hustle Harder" and "Team Super”.

The collaboration, which aims to drive customer engagement and spark a conversation about female leadership, naturally follows Ardene’s recent back-to-school campaign, We Are the Future, which celebrates authenticity.

The Ontario-native who writes, produces and stars in comedic and inspirational videos on Youtube, has a fanbase of close to 24 million followers (YouTube and Instagram) with over 3 billion channel views and is equally set to launch her highly-anticipated late-night show, A Little Late with Lilly Singh, on NBC and Global, next month.

“We are so proud to support inspirational women and offer our customers a way to connect with authentic female role models,” said Ardene COO, Mark Dervishian, in a news statement.

“And, as a longstanding Canadian business whose aim is to offer customers a way to express themselves, we can say with confidence that our partnership with Lilly is the perfect fit.”

The collaboration is in line with the affordable fast-fashion retailer’s young target audience and its business strategy to cater to ‘Generation Z’ via social influencers.

Previously, the company joined forces with duo Kendall & Kylie, and has equally partnered with the likes of Lottie Moss, Adelaine Morin, LaurDIY, and others.

Ardene will also be collaborating with Lilly Singh to host a special event at the Bramalea City Centre Mall on September 7.

The company launched in Canada in 1982 as an accessories and jewelry retailer. In 2015, it opened its first U.S. store. It currently boasts over 350 stores across Canada.
