Former lawyer Trunzo co-founded Carson Street, formerly known as Carson Street Clothiers, in 2012 with fellow lawyer Matthew Breen. The men’s fashion retailer quickly became a haven for menswear enthusiasts and business professionals that sought out Jil Sander suits and Tim Coppens sportswear, as well as designers and brands Umit Benan, Greg Lauren, Visvim and Christophe Lemaire among others.

Earlier this year, the duo and Patrick Doss launched luxury menswear label Deveaux and showed the collection at NYFW: Men’s. The new line is very different from the Carson Street private label and consists of luxury fabrics like pebble cashmere, leather and suede.

Though the retailer and new men’s line are in expansion mode, Trunzo is calling it quits to pursue other endeavors.
