Change Lingerie to open 10 Canadian stores in 2019

Danish lingerie brand Change is moving forward with its ambitious Canadian expansion plans, first announced in January 2017, and opening an anticipated ten stores across Canada in 2019.

The company will continue to focus on opening stores in the provinces of British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec with a focus on securing spaces of 600 to 1,000 square feet in super regional malls, according to Think Retail, the brokerage firm that partnered with Change for their retail expansion.
 
It entered Canada in 2006 and currently operates 20 locations across the country including 6 stores in British Columbia, 1 store in Saskatchewan, 8 in Ontario and 5 in Quebec.

Most recently, it reopened in Metropolis at Metrotown in suburban Vancouver. Earlier this year, Change equally set up shop at CF Lime Ridge Mall in Hamilton, Ontario.
 
The retailer is well-known for its large selection of bras available in more than 110 different sizes from A-M cup in a variety of styles. Its mission: “To provide the perfect bra to as many women around the world as possible.”

Change, which launched in Denmark in 1995 as a private label brand known as Change of Scandinavia, today has more than 250 franchise and corporate stores in 15 countries across Europe, Asia and North America. 
 
Its next Canadian store opening is still to be announced.
