Ck One becomes a lifestyle brand

Launched in 1994, sixteen years later, Ck One, Calvin Klein's emblematic fragrance managed by the Coty group, turns into a lifestyle brand. It will now retail jeans, underwear and swimwear. This first step of Ck One's new brand development strategy, going beyond perfume, will be overseen by Warnaco (holder of the brand's underwear, jeans and bath products' licenses).

Intended for men and women, Ck One aimed for its new product offer to be "energetic and forward-thinking", allowing the brand to broaden its customer base, says Craig Brommers, vice president of marketing at Warnaco.

It will make its debut in Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Jeans retail stores next January with the launch of its spring-summer collection 2011.
