Paris-based accessories brand Côte&Ciel and Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto partnered on a capsule collection of backpacks.

The two brands came together to produce special edition versions of Côte&Ciel’s Moselle and Small Isar backpacks. The Moselle backpack is constructed from leather and nylon and features an additional inner pocket, and the Small Isar is a leather backpack that can fit 15” devices. Both styles are available in black.

Côte&Ciel, which means “coast and sky”, was founded in Paris in 2008. The accessories brand adds Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto to its long list of collaborators and past collaborations joining Apple, Comme des Garçons, Damir Doma, Mykita and 10 Corso Como.

Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto is the Japanese designer’s first-ever brand. Yamamoto described the brand to La Garçonne as a line about real clothing for real people, while his eponymous label is very experimental and conceptual.

The Côte&Ciel, Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto capsule collection will launch at Y’s stores on June 17.
