David Yurman has announced the reopening of its luxury jewelry boutique in Boston's Copley Place. In addition to a newly designed space, the boutique has added a men's jewelry area and private salon.

The new 2,500 square foot space was designed by founders and artists David and Sybil Yurman. The renovated boutique pays tribute to the brand's heritage in art and its journey to jewelry and luxury design.

The entryway features David's early sculptures that gave rise to the brand's first designs. Sybil Yurman's paintings are hung on the walls.

In addition to focusing on art, David Yurman took a localized approach to the shop's retail design. The new boutique features the Massachusetts State Flower, the Mayflower, showcased through plaster motifs on white gold leaf in the main sales area. The hand applied flowers are featured on decorative panels, offering a nod to the location's rich heritage through the brand's aesthetic.

The men's area is designed with a more masculine feel that is conveyed through the use of darker decor materials and found objects. The boutique uses wood plank formed concrete on the store facade and vintage furniture and ornate upholstery throughout the space.

David Yurman was founded in New York City in 1980. Its signature pieces use diamonds, pearls and gemstones designed to convey relaxed American luxury. David Yurman is available in 47 locations including branded boutiques and retail partners in the US, Canada and France. The brand sells at 350 locations globally.

The David Yurman boutique is located in Copley Place at 100 Huntington Avenue in Boston.
