David Yurman debuts updated store in Montreal

American luxury jeweler David Yurman unveiled last week a fresh space in Montreal at the newly renovated Holt Renfrew Ogilvy. 

 
The shop-in-shop, situated on the main level of the historic Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, spans 1,200 square feet - nearly double the size of the previous David Yurman location at Holt Renfrew Montreal – and includes design elements that pay homage to both the brand’s history and philosophy of art. 
 
The boutique features live-edge walnut, travertine counters and touches of antique bronze, as well as artisan plaster wall details throughout its interior. 

In store, customers can shop David Yurman products across all categories, including women's, men's and wedding segments, with product categories separated by the use of architectural finishes and elements such as metal portals and wooden screens. 
 
"The opening of our new boutique at Holt Renfrew Ogilvy provides an opportunity for us to feature our most innovative designs and to tell a rich brand story," said Carol Pennelli, President of David Yurman, in a news statement. "Montreal exudes style through all elements of art, architecture and design".
 
Holt Renfrew has been renovating and expanding its store network across Canada, as well as its online platform, in recent years.
 
The company is currently updating its newly inaugurated Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montreal, as well as doing significant renovations at Toronto's 50 Bloor Street West flagship store and at Toronto's Yorkdale location. 
 
David Yurman opened two shop-in-shops within Holt Renfrew in Calgary, Alberta and in Mississauga, Ontario in December 2017.
 
Prior to that the jewellery brand equally expanded and reopened its shop-in-shop within Holt Renfrew in Vancouver.
 
David Yurman collections are currently available at 49 wholly owned retail locations throughout the United States, Canada, and France and at over 350 locations worldwide.
