CoreMedia has partnered with Deckers Brands to provide the footwear company with its first omnichannel site using the CoreMedia Content Cloud, the digital experience solutions provider's content management platform.

In a press release, CoreMedia said that the launch is "part of a broader overhaul of Deckers' content management and distribution processes," intended to build the company's digital presence around the world, "without dependence on IT development resources."

CoreMedia explained that its Content Cloud is an application program interface, or "API-driven content solution that combines a headless content management repository and an omnichannel delivery engine with an advanced user interface that facilitates the real-time composition and preview of complex front-end customer experiences across different digital channels and devices."

Or, as CoreMedia's vice president of sales and customer success Joe Toppe put it, the platform will allow Deckers Brands to "expand their brand presence, innovate faster" and deliver personalized shoppable content to consumers, "regardless of language, region, or brand."

Ugg's site is the first of the footwear company's brands to go live on the CoreMedia Content Cloud, launching in under two months. CoreMedia and the footwear company plan to bring the rest of the Deckers portfolio onto the new platform in the near future.

For now, the CoreMedia platform works in tandem with Deckers' pre-existing digital platform, Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
