The first three new Dick’s Sporting Goods locations to launch will host their grand opening weekends October 11 through 13, opening their doors at the Shops at Beacon Lakes in Miami, Florida; Brass Mill Commons in Waterbury, Connecticut; and Jordan Landing in West Jordan, Utah.

A fourth location will open at 336 Marketplace in Conroe, Texas on the weekend of October 26, when Best Buy Plaza in Dallas will also gain both a Dick’s Sporting Goods and a Golf Galaxy.

A final Golf Galaxy store will open at Butterfield Plaza in Downers Grove, Illinois on the same weekend.

The stores will stock sports apparel, footwear and equipment from the company’s own private labels, which include Tommy Armour, Field & Stream and recently launched DSG, as well as big-name brands like Nike and Adidas.

The new openings will bring the company’s store count up to 732 Dick’s Sporting Goods locations and 95 Golf Galaxy stores spread over 47 states, and will collectively bring a total of around 400 jobs to their local communities.

The grand opening weekends will feature competitions and activities, as well as special guest appearances from sports personalities such as Liván Hernández (Miami), Justin Tuck (Waterbury), Royce O’Neale (West Jordan) and Lamar Miller (Conroe).

Further information about the opening events can be found on the Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy websites.
