As part of the partnership, the former pro-football player, who played wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and Tennessee Titans for eight total seasons before his retirement, offered his expertise on the best athleisure sneakers for the winter season. Decker will equally front campaign imagery, as the retailer continues to build on recent growth in its athletic and men’s categories.

Eric Decker’s partnership with DSW blends functionality with fashion and includes styles from brands such as Timberland and New Balance. The winter sneaker selection launches December 25 at DSW.com and all 500 store locations, with styles ranging in price from $35 to $200.

“When I look for new shoes, I want something I can wear to the gym and in everyday life. DSW makes it easy to shop for men's shoes,” said Decker. “Being a dad, I need sneakers that can keep up with me and DSW offers such a variety of sneaker styles and great brands.”

Designer Brands Inc., the Columbus, Ohio-based owner of DSW, The Shoe Company and Shoe Warehouse retail chains, announced earlier this month net sales of $853.5 million, for the third quarter ended October 30, 2021, representing a year-over-year increase of 30.7 percent.
