Estée Lauder makes two senior executive appointments

The Estée Lauder Company Inc. on Friday announced two executive appointments both effective on March 14. Janet Saunders has been promoted to the newly created role of Vice President/General Manager Commercial and Rachel Baker has been named Vice President/General Manager Clinique and Men’s Skin Care.


Clinique For Men


 
Saunders most recently served as Vice President/General Manager of Clinique, Origins and Darphin. She joined the company in July 2000 as Sales Director UK and Ireland. Prior to joining Estée Lauder, Saunders worked at Chanel and House of Fraser in sales and buying positions. As VP/GM Commercial, she will manage the commercial aspects of the business like retailer relationships, corporate and brand capabilities and selling effectiveness.
 
Baker rejoins the company from Jo Malone where she served as Vice President General Manager. She started her career at Estée Lauder as a Clinique counter manager before being promoted to Regional Sales and Marketing Manager and Sales Director.

Both executives will report to Estée Lauder Companies UK and Ireland President Chris Good.
