Fabletics, Tommy John to open new stores at Southlake Town Square

Southlake, Texas-based upscale shopping and lifestyle center Southlake Town Square has announced that Kate Hudson's active lifestyle brand Fabletics, as well as apparel and underwear brand Tommy John have signed new leases to join the precinct's fleet of stores.

According to a press release, the 2,077 square-foot Southlake Town Square Fabletics store will feature multiple in-store tech enhancements, including a user interface that will allow customers to request a different size or color, check stock and receive styling tips for the brand's range of men's and women's apparel, without leaving the fitting room.

In addition, the store will feature point-of-sale devices that allow Fabletics associates to help customers shop the brand's website and arrange for shipping of products directly to their homes, and will give customers the option to shop through the Fabletics Flexible VIP membership program. The Southlake Town Square store is expected to open this year, and marks Fabletics' first Tarrant County location. 

The Tommy John store, set to open in the fall of this year, will offer a range of the brand's comfort-focused apparel and underwear for men and women. The new location, measuring at 1,925 square-feet, marks the first DFW-area location for the brand and its sixth retail location. 

"By working closely with our retailers, we are able to promote their brand in a way that complements the legacy we have established here in the Square," said Liz Barth, marketing director for Southlake Town Square.

Last month, Southlake Town Square made headlines for being tapped as the home of Macy's newest immersive retail concept, Market by Macy's. Since then, the shopping center has also become the home of a new a branch of L Makeup Institute, which selected Southlake Town Square as the site of its first school outside of its Las Vegas headquarters. 

"Our mission is the same today as it was from the beginning--create a place where people want to be while providing them with the best selection of retailers, restaurants and entertainment," added Jason Kasal, vice president and senior leasing director, western division with Retail Properties of America, Inc., the owner and operator of Southlake Town Square.

"We continue to attract first-in-market concepts and enjoy integrating fresh ideas into the mix."
