Fashion in New York: Trade Shows Moda, Stitch, Fame, Edit and AccessoriesTheShow

On Monday, several trade shows – Moda, Stitch, Fame, Edit and AccessoriesTheShow - kicked off in New York City at the Javits Centre and will run until February 24.

The trade shows cater to different designers and retailers; Moda is an upscale trade show providing a concise mix of modern contemporary ready-to-wear collections for women; Stitch offers a new approach to the presentation of well-known and emerging women's wear brands; FAME is the Junior/Young Contemporary show where retailers discover the best quality resources at great margins; while Edit aims to advance contemporary and luxury brands; and AccessoriesTheShow provides a selection of juried accessory collections.
 
The trade shows are organized by BJI Fashion Group which produces some 27 events per year.

Top retailers from around the world including from Japan, Mexico and Italy, attend the shows.  
 
Admission to the trade shows are by invitation and approval, only.
