Frank + Oak women's line is expanding again

Montreal-based fashion brand Frank + Oak is expanding its women’s line again with a permanent collection.
The collection will consist of new pieces as well as past favourites in an expanded seasonal palette. The line is set to drop February 8.
Frank + Oak launched as a menswear brand in 2012. They expanded into womenswear for Fall 2016 and launched their first women’s line September 20, followed by the launch of a women’s Holiday collection on November 1. The collection was launched online, but has since made its way into select stores.
“We’ve developed a reputation as the brand for creative and entrepreneurial Millennials. Until now, we’ve only actively served a portion of that market,” Ethan Song, CEO and Co-Founder of Frank + Oak, said in a news statement announcing their first foray into womenswear. “Our aspiration isn’t simply to serve to our customers’ girlfriends — we want to build connections with communities of independent, passionate and creative women by providing considered style and a memorable shopping experience.”
Though at the time of the launch it was unclear whether a women’s collection would be an enduring option, a permanent collection confirms that the retailer is moving forward with expansion plans in womenswear.
