Ahead of Fall, Montreal-based retailer Frank And Oak has reinvented its denim line to include more sustainable pieces and new styles for both men and women.

The Canadian retailer launched on Friday six new denim styles including the Miles, Gordon, and Iggy for men, and the Billie, Nina and Joni for women, all named after legendary rockstars who inspired the designs.

The line includes a range of fits from straight fit, athletic fit and tapered fit for men, to relaxed fit, wide leg fit, and flare fit for women. The collection also comes in various washes with prices ranging from $79.50 to $99.50 CAD.

As part of the company’s commitment to becoming a more sustainable brand, select styles were made with eco-friendly materials like organic 'good cotton' and 'dynamic stretch', as well as with eco-friendly methods such as a hydro-less process that utilizes nano-bubble and ozone-wash technologies to conserve water.

While it usually takes over 10,000 litres of water to make one pair of conventional cotton jeans, the Hydro-less process used by Frank And Oak produces styles using 79 percent less energy, 95 percent less water and 50 percent fewer chemicals.

As part of the collection launch, Frank And Oak has also launched a denim campaign that will be showcased in a large scale advertising push across the downtown Toronto area later this August.

Founded in 2012, Frank And Oak launched as an e-commerce-only brand for men.

The company has since expanded into brick-and-mortar, as well as into womenswear with the launch of its first women’s collection in fall 2016. The company operates over 20 stores across Canada.
