From the Paris runway: Jacquemus

Jacquemus chose a highly original atmosphere for revealing its autumn/winter 2015/16 collection: a Parisian apartment undergoing construction. From backstage and alongside the runway, Paris Modes' Sophie de Champsavin and Natalia Grgona share their impressions on the presentation.

From the very first looks, designer Simon Porte Jacquemus's personal fashion vision, which relates to his childhood, is clear. The silhouette is constructed by a patchwork of materials. His obsession with circles plays out in the huge eyelets which act as ties.

The materials inspire new volumes and new shapes. No ornamentation, the focus is on simplicity.

The Jacquemus woman is growing up and embraces her nudity, even if she is hidden behind a mask.
