Gabrielle Union teams with Fashion To Figure for plus-size collection

Fashion To Figure, the plus-size retailer owned by RTW Retailwinds (formerly known as New York & Company) has partnered with actress Gabrielle Union for a new collection of plus-size clothing.

The premiere Gabrielle Union x FTF collection consists of 13 holiday-ready styles, including dresses, tops, jumpsuits sweaters and skirts, in sizes ranging from 12 to 24. The collection’s pieces retail from $69.95 o $199.95. 

While this marks the first collaboration between Union and Fashion to Figure, the actress has launched a variety of collections, from holiday to children’s lines, as a longtime partner of RTW's New York & Company brand. Now, Fashion to Figure is bringing Union's signature style to a more inclusive size range. 

"My line's availability at Fashion To Figure is a critical and personal moment for me,” Union said.

“This is for my family and all the plus-size women who have messaged me asking for Gabrielle Union…It was a natural first step to offer the size range that FTF currently offers, but we are also working on getting the fit right for sizes beyond a 24 for future collections. I am so excited to be on this fashion journey, every collection levels up and I am closer to my personal goal of having a brand with bomb clothes that fit all bodies."

RTW Retailwinds first acquired Fashion to Figure in 2017. In August, the parent company reported decreased sales and a net loss of $7.5 million for the second quarter. At the same time, the company announced plans to drop its newly launched Uncommon Sense lingerie brand, in order to focus on growing Fashion to Figure, which posted positive comps in the quarter, as well as its Happy x Nature brand, made in collaboration with actress Kate Hudson.
