Gap launches collection of family essentials with Amazon Fashion

Gap has teamed up with Amazon Fashion in the U.S. and Canada for the launch of a collection of family essentials.

The collection features thousands of items for the family, offering a selection of basic, modern essentials, including hoodies, t-shirts, denim, socks, underwear and sleepwear for adults, teens, kids and baby. 

Beyond clothes, the launch also includes baby Gap-branded nursery furniture and baby gear like strollers, bassinets, cribs and more. The collection is now available in Gap’s dedicated brand store at Amazon.com/Gap or by searching 'Gap' on mobile or desktop

“Collaborating with Amazon Fashion provides us a new channel to deliver Gap’s modern American essentials to even more customers in the U.S. and Canada," said Mark Breitbard, president and CEO, Gap brand. 

“We are excited to take this step with Amazon Fashion, to expand our product offering and to deepen our connection with consumers through the Gap brand store.” 

Amazon has long made its fashion presence well-known. Besides launching its own private-label brands and collaborating with high-profile celebrities on campaigns and collections, it also most recently stepped into retail with the opening of a dedicated clothing store in LA.
