Ballers is HBO's first hit show in a decade. It is a thirty minute show that looks at the lives of current and former football players. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson stars in the series and Mark Wahlberg is one of the executive producers.

The show's costume designer Tiffany Hasbourne explained the pop-up shop was designed to bring the “‘Ballers aesthetic to life.”

To bring it to life, five brands have made exclusive Ballers cobranded product that will be featured in the pop-up. Men's apparel, footwear and accessories will all be sold in the shop.

Key pieces in the pop-up include a tee shirt and bomber jacket inspired by Jay-Z's song "Can I Live" made by NY-based lifestyle brand Roc96 and MadeWorn. Cazal of 80s cult fame and modern hip hop style appeal will sell 5 styles of sunglasses.

Also featured in the pop-up are LA designers Buscemi and Hall of Fame who join menswear designer Pyer Moss to offer multiple styles of footwear, hats, a backpack and knit tops.

Hasbourne said, "There was no other way to launch [the third season of the show] than with a fully-immersive experience to capture [the show's] energy".

To celebrate the kickoff of the pop-up shop experience, HBO hosted a VIP event on Thursday night with DJs Virgil Abloh and DJ Wonder.

The Ballers pop-up is located at 633 North La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles. It is open to the public Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22. The third season of the show premiers on Sunday, July 23.
