HSN, Inc. announced on Monday that it has hired Rod Little as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 3, 2017. He will report to CEO Mindy Grossman.

Little heads to HSN from Elizabeth Arden where he most recently served as EVP and CFO. In this role, Little led the company’s global finance and IT organizations and was instrumental in restoring the company’s revenue growth and profitability.

Prior to Elizabeth Arden, Little served as CFO of Proctor & Gamble and was handpicked for the role to oversee the turnaround of the multi-billion dollar global salon business. He worked at P&G for well over 15 years.

Little succeeds Judy Schmeling as CFO and will work closely with her to ensure a seamless transition. Schmeling was named President of HSNi operating division Cornerstone Brands in August 2016.

HSN in November reported a decrease in sales, net income and diluted earnings per share. The company aims to improve its performance with “strategic actions” according to Grossman. Little’s expertise in turning businesses around should prove beneficial for HSN.
