Harrods is celebrating Tiffany & Co’s 150 years in London and has installed a light display that turns its famous façade Tiffany blue. It’s the first time it has changed the colour of its façade in partnership with a brand.

The retailer and the luxury jewellery brand held an opening ceremony this week with Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan switching on the 7,500 lights.

The lights will remain in place until the end of the month, acting as a very visible advert for the in-store Tiffany takeover, with the company also at pains to point out that the bulbs will all be recycled at the end of the promotional period.

The retailer is also planning an “immersive pop-up in the Exhibition Windows”.

The anniversary celebration also extend beyond Harrods with this week seeing the debut of the Tiffany exhibition, Vision & Virtuosity, that’s at the Saatchi Gallery until mid-August.
