The Hudson’s Bay is overhauling its brand assortment in Canada including the introduction of Anthropologie Home.

The retailer will carry a selection of bedding, linens, tabletop and decorative accessories, stationery and small accent furniture by Anthropolgie at 20 Hudson’s Bay locations across the country including Toronto at Queen Street and Yorkdale Mall and in Vancouver and Montreal, as well as on thebay.com.

While the Hudson’s Bay most recently announced that it will close its Dutch stores, it is doing a clean-up of its current brand offerings in Canada.

According to Bloomberg, the owner of Saks Fifth Avenue has booted out 300 “unproductive” brands from its Canadian department store chain, and is bringing in 100 new brands.

The assortment this season is expected to be more upscale with new brands including Mango and Maggie Marilyn. The brand overhaul is still currently underway.

Last week, the Canadian retailer reported a second-quarter net loss from continuing operations of $462 million, worsening from a $104 million loss a year earlier, amid falling same-store sales, and store closures.
