The Canadian made-to-measure men’s apparel company opened its fourth showroom in the region in Santa Monica Place on Wednesday and announced plans to open a new Melrose Avenue flagship this summer.

The new 2,300-square-foot store in Santa Monica offers a similar experience to other locations where customers are paired with a 'Style Guide' who helps them design their suit or shirt.

"Santa Monica Place is a premier shopping destination and the ideal setting to showcase our one-of-kind showroom experience as we continue to change the way a generation of men build their wardrobe," said Drew Green, President and CEO of Indochino.

Meanwhile, the Vancouver-based company plans to open at least seven locations in total across the state with the addition of the 2,500-square-foot showroom set to open on the Melrose strip.

Earlier this year, the company announced plans to open up to 20 stores across North America with retail growth planned for both the East and West Coasts of the United States.

Indochino currently operates 41 stores across North America. The retailer says it’s also exploring international expansion, as it is experiencing sales outside North America with no marketing efforts.

Next, it will open its second Boston location at 79 Seaport Boulevard on Friday, March 8. Ahead of the inauguration, Indochino partnered with the Boston Red Sox, becoming the baseball team's official made-to-measure brand.

Indochino first launched in 2007 as an online retailer before opening its first permanent bricks-and-mortar location in 2014, in Vancouver. It has since expanded its product offering as well with the launch of business-casual pants and overcoats in October.
