Indochino is starting its year the same way it ended it, with more store openings.

The Vancouver-based menswear company has opened a showroom in Scarborough Town Centre in the Greater Toronto Area, marking the company’s fifth location in the region.

At the 2,211-square-foot showroom, customers are paired with a 'Style Guide' who takes measurements, assists with fabric selections and more, in order for customers to create and fully customize their suit, blazer, vest, pants and shirts.

The area is also considered home to the company’s CEO.

"I've been waiting for this moment since we planned our bold expansion strategy in 2015," said CEO, Drew Green. "From West Hill to Agincourt, and all the amazing communities in between, Scarborough is rooted in cultural diversity, hard work and proud heritage.

"Bringing Indochino to my hometown is a real honour, and I'm excited and grateful for the people of Scarborough to be able to discover a better way to shop for great fitting suiting, outerwear and casualwear — the custom way.”

The company opened its 50th showroom in Washington, DC, in October, followed by openings in Cleveland, OH and New Orleans, LA, rounding-out a year of major retail expansion.

Indochino has had a focus on retail growth on the east and west coasts of the United States. In addition to expanding its retail presence, Indochino has also been growing its product offering with more casual wear.
