J. Crew to open Mercantile store in Charlotte

J. Crew announced on Monday the opening of J. Crew Mercantile at Park Road Shopping Center. The new location, which opened on January 27, is the first from the company to open in Charlotte, NC.

 
The store is located at Park Road Shopping Center, which first opened in 1956 and is anchored by Harris Teeter, Blackhawk Hardware, Michael’s and Regal Park Cinemas.
 
J. Crew Mercantile is an off-price concept that offers classic J. Crew men’s, women’s and children’s products that were once only available in J. Crew Factory stores. The concept first launched in July 2015 with the opening of its first shop at The Shops at Park Lane in Dallas, TX.

The new Mercantile location at Park Road Shopping Center is the ninth from the company to open. The company operates locations in Dallas and El Paso, TX; Peoria, IL; Athens, GA; Roseville, CA; Wauwatosa, WI; Gainesville, VA and Eugene, OR.
