The company has released a new pricing manifesto: "Reduced by Nothing; Standing for Something," which is a promise to its customers that Jigsaw won't discount its collections outside its dedicated sales periods at the end of each season.

Peter Ruis, CEO, The Jigsaw Group, comments: “Unsurprisingly, we won’t be taking part in Black Friday. Our products are reduced by nothing because they stand for something. We painstakingly create every product from scratch to deliver a unique value proposition that our customers can buy with assurance and consistency. Is there anything more demoralising than seeing the coat you saved up for and bought, offered at 20% off the week after?”

He continues: “When we price a product, our customers can be 100% assured that it will remain at that price all season.”

“As a retailer, Jigsaw is confident of its selling strategy – we tell our customers when our sales start. We have two sales per year at the end of each season, and they are fantastic. The next begins online at 6pm on December 24 and in stores on Boxing Day. Just don’t bank on finding that beautiful coat; best sellers do sell out.”

The manifesto is published on Jigsaw's website and customers have also been informed through emails.
