John Lennon Signature Collection to premier at TOM*

Toronto Men's Fashion Week (TOM*) announced on Monday that the John Lennon Signature Collection will premier on the TOM* runway during its Spring/Summer 2017 season.
 
The John Lennon Signature Collection was created by Caulfeild Apparel Group. The Signature Collection consists of garments that John once wore and would wear today. The styling is reminiscent of the sixties, but adapted to today's modern silhouette and features John Lennon’s self-portrait and some of Lennon's actual lyrics.

 
"Imagine John Lennon walking the streets of London, what would you see? Imagine in his prime what John Lennon would wear today?  That is where the design comes from," says Kelly Pettit, Designer and Divisional Vice President at Caulfeild Apparel Group, in a news statement. "This iconic figure and his legendary music, art and personal style remain at the forefront of the collection. I wanted the collection to be eclectic and vibrant with a modern feel. The Signature Collection is pieces inspired by the lifestyle and persona of John Lennon.  A collection of wovens, trousers, leathers and graphic tees that will resonate with people that want the world to be as one."
 
The collection will premier during a fashion show, which will take place on Saturday, August 20 at 7pm in Toronto, Canada.

Caulfeild Apparel Group Ltd.was established in 1886 as a retailer of fine woolen goods from England. 
 
TOM* is the eighth men's fashion week in the world and is the most influential platform in Canada for menswear designers and brands.
