Joyrich's new FW/2017 collection celebrates artist Keith Haring

Joyrich, a global fashion label founded in 2007, pulled inspiration from Keith Haring — an American artist and social activist whose work responded to the New York City street culture of the 1980s through colorful chalk drawings — for its latest FW 2017  collection that launches on September 29 at all flagship stores and online.

Each piece was designed to emulate one of Haring’s vibrant subway chalk drawings that were showcased in neighborhoods across New York back in the 80’s. The relaxed collection features essentials such as tees, parkas and sweatshirts. Prices have not yet been revealed, but are likely to sit between Joyrich's usual $60 for a basic tee to $276 for jackets and coats.

Joyrich also collaborated with Haring back in 2013 for its FW collection. Other previous collaborations include Reebok by Joyrich, Coca-Cola, Playboy and The Simpsons x Club 75. The 2017 collection was executed with Artestar, a global brand licensing and creative consultancy representing various art fashion and design brands.
