Simon Property Group announced on Thursday the completion of a 155,000-square-foot expansion at the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania. The expansion increases the mall’s footprint to 2.9 million-square-feet and adds 50 new retail and dining storefronts.

The project broke ground in the summer of 2014 and involved an enclosed multi-level expansion connecting the five anchor, 1,680,000-square-foot Plaza, and the two-anchor, 902,000-square-foot Court.

A number of luxury retailers and first-to-market brands opened retail locations at the mall on Thursday following the expansion including Cartier, CH Carolina Herrera, Club Monaco, David Yurman, Diane von Furstenberg, Gap, Jimmy Choo, MCM, Robert Graham, Stuart Weitzman, Superdry, and Vince. In early 2017, more brands will join the mall such as Bottega Veneta, Gucci and Oliver Peoples.

Several existing luxury brands including Burberry, Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. have relocated and expanded their current footprints to create flagship locations within the new expansion area.

The King of Prussia Mall is located 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia and serves the Greater Philadelphia region including the Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties. The mall is home to over 400 stores including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and Lord & Taylor.
