Luxury lingerie brand La Perla is known for the quality of its artisanal craftsmanship. For its 65th anniversary collection of lingerie and ready-to-wear, it has chosen to highlight one of its specialties: macramé.

The collection is available in limited edition starting in November in a selection of boutiques and online.

La Perla has been accentuating women's curves since its founding by Ada Masotti in 1954. To celebrate its birthday, it is launching a collection combining comfort, sensuality, and fluidity designed by its creative director Alessandra Bertuzzi.

Called Macramé Noir, the collection's pieces are enhanced by a unique macramé pattern made possible by the luxury brand's artisanal savoir-faire. Sheer textures and shadows are in play for more glamour than ever and are punctuated by hand-applied black Swarovski crystals for a modern touch.

"Every La Perla piece is connected by Ada's spirit. It is a thread between generations of women that is unbreakable," stated Alessandra Bertuzzi.

This anniversary collection includes lingerie -- panties, bras, corsets -- and several ready-to-wear pieces. The objective is to combine the pieces to chic, glamorous effect on a daily basis, from work until evenings out. The brand's faithful will appreciate pants, a blazer, tops, a t-shirt, a long-sleeved crop top, and a dress with delicate spaghetti straps.

The collection is completed by accessories including gloves and cuffs.

La Perla's "Macramé Noir" collection will be available from November in boutiques and online. The collection is priced between 250 and 2,100 euros.
