LaSalle College Vancouver appoints new president

LaSalle College Vancouver announced on Thursday the appointment of Robin Hemmingsen as President.
 
In this position, Hemmingsen will oversee operations and future developments at Canada's West Coast headquarters. She will help grow Vancouver operations and increase student recruitment at LaSalle College Vancouver, and at member campuses of the LCI Education network.

Previously, Hemmingsen was Dean of Business at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Prior to entering the education realm, she worked as Director of Finance at Nabisco Brands Inc., and most recently served as Managing Director of the Autism Society of British Columbia (ASBC).

"Robin's robust portfolio in the education sector will strengthen our Vancouver operations," says Leslie "Skip" Triplett, Board Chair of LaSalle College Vancouver, in a news statement. "Her involvement with youth organizations and the Vancouver Board of Trade are aligned with our vision. We are more than thrilled to welcome Robin as President of our Vancouver operations."

LaSalle College Vancouver is a boutique design school certified and designated by the Private Training Institution Branch and the British Columbian Education Quality Assurance program (EQA). It was established in 1998 and is a member of the LCI Education network.
