​More responsibility: Marco Dippe joins Lacoste's global headquarters in Paris. The executive was previously responsible for the European region as CEO of Central & Northern Europe, amd his remit is being extended significantly in his new role as CEO of EMEA & Global Travel Retail. Former Boss director Marcus Meyer will become responsible for the European business.

Dippe has been credited with driving growth at the French premium brand over the past three years through a repositioning in the European market. Among others, he was crucial in the integration of the German, Austrian, Swiss, Danish and Swedish markets.

All activities for these markets have been recently consolidated under one management team. 

Additionally, Dippe, who previously held various senior roles at Nike, oversaw the integration of the textile, footwear and underwear areas, helping establish the European region as an investment area within the group.

Marcus Meyer will be the new CEO of the European business - Lacoste


Marcus Meyer will take over as CEO of Central & Northern Europe on 1 October, Lacoste announced in a press release.

He brings many years of experience in the fashion and footwear scene. In his most recent post as managing director of Hugo Boss in Central Europe, he was responsible for Austria, Switzerland, the Benelux region, Eastern Europe and Africa as well as Germany.

Prior to that, Meyer was a member of the board of Gaydoul Group in Switzerland, and served as the chief executive of the group’s Navyboot brand. He also held roles at Italian companies Geox and Benetton Group and at El Corte Inglés in Spain.
