Lands' End taps Chieh Tsai as new chief product officer

Lands' End, Inc. has named Chieh Tsai, the company's current senior vice president of design, to the newly-created position of chief product officer.


Prior to her time at Lands' End, Tsai served in a range of executive rolls, including vice president of design for Ann Inc., design director at Calvin Klein, and senior designer at Nine West Group. - Instagram @landsend


In her new role, Tsai will manage design, merchandising, and global sourcing activities company-wide. 

The update comes "as part of the company's continuing focus to execute on its strategic initiatives and position the company for long term growth after six straight quarters of revenue improvement," according to a press release.

Prior to joining Lands' End, Tsai served in a range of executive rolls, including vice president of design for Ann Inc., design director at Calvin Klein, and senior designer at Nine West Group.

"[Tsai's] design vision has enabled us to confidently go to market with offerings that have resonated well with the Lands' End customer," said Jerome Griffith, chief executive officer and president, Lands' End. "[We] believe consolidating leadership of these critical functions will allow our American heritage brand to continue to deliver products that fit the Lands' End customer's needs."

Lands' End has also named Rosalind Drisko as its new vice president of public relations and brand marketing. In her new role, she will report to Lands' End senior vice president of brand creative, Matt Trainor.

Prior to her time at Lands' End, Drisko served in a range leadership roles, most recently as vice president of global marketing for VF Corporation's Nautica Apparel Brand, where she led marketing and creative services. Drisko will now manage the company's public relations, social media and brand marketing teams.
