Lauren Tsai and Marc Jacobs unveil collaborative collection

After model and artist Lauren Tsai gave a sneak peak of her upcoming collaboration with Marc Jacobs on Instagram on Wednesday, the first official campaign images have been released, revealing a collection of accessories and apparel featuring Tsai’s dark fantasy-inspired artwork.
 

The images show a selection of lunchbox-shaped handbags and a mini backpack, as well as apparel pieces including a white hoodie and two t-shirts. All of the pieces are decorated with original art by Tsai and the accessories feature a varied color palette, ranging from black, saturated royal blue and hot pink to softer pastels. The tees and hoodie are in more subdued shades, with emphasis on white, black and gray.
 
A series of behind-the-scenes photos have also been released showing Tsai at work in the atelier, choosing materials and preparing her artwork.

Tsai rose to fame after her participation in Netflix reality TV show Terrace House and has already worked with Marc Jacobs, appearing in the brand’s campaign for its first touchscreen smartwatch, Riley, this summer.
 
The Lauren Tsai x Marc Jacobs collection is slated to launch on October 12.
