Positive lifestyle focused brand Life is Good announced the results of its first national kids drawing contest for kids ages 3-12 with love and relationships winning over technology.

Winners hand drawn art will be featured in the first Kids Art Collection, and 3 finalists receive $2,000 college scholarships. Of the 7,500 entries, Life is Good found love and relationships are what makes life good for children in that age group.

"It's not a total surprise that children value relationships more than anything else, but seeing such an overwhelming amount of them put this first is a great reminder of who we need to be as adults and role models," said Steve Gross, Chief Playmaker for Life is Good.

"It was incredibly inspiring to see life through children's eyes," said John Jacobs Chief Creative Optimist & Life is Good co-founder. "Life isn't easy, but we have the choice to approach it with optimism and to help make it good with great relationships and love. We are excited to share the artwork and inspiration with others."

Specific results were quantified from the contest showing this generation's priorities. 30% drew love and relationships, whether pets, family or friends. 24% drew nature, 14% drew creative subjects like art and music. Particularly interesting is that less than 2% said that technology, including video games, TV, phones are what make their lives good.

The Kids Art Collection designs are now available for pre-order online in adult and children's tees.
