Lifestyle subscription brand FabFitFun reaches 1 million members

Members-only women’s lifestyle brand FabFitFun has hit over one million subscribers.


To create buzz around this milestone, the company is encouraging members to use the hashtag #IamFabFitFun and submit a video explaining their enthusiasm for the company. - Via FabFitFun


The company, which began as a digital magazine in 2010, launched its subscriber box service in 2013. Through the service, members receive a range of full-size products across beauty, fashion, fitness, wellness, and other categories four times a year.

Since the launch of its box service, FabFitFun has built up its brand with year-round "perks" for members, the debut of original video content via FabFitFunTV, live programming on Facebook and members-only shopping experiences.

As the brand continues to grow, FabFitFun aims to expand its features and partnerships, appealing to an even wider demographic and attracting new subscribers with a laundry list of incentives. 

“There are a handful of memberships in the world - Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify - where the value equation tilts so heavily in the customer’s direction that joining becomes something of a no brainer," said Michael Broukhim, co-founder and co-CEO, in a release. "We see FabFitFun increasingly in those terms. For many people, joining FabFitFun is now a total no brainer, we see it as our job to make that more and more true for more and more people over time.”

To create buzz around this milestone, the company is encouraging members to use the hashtag #IamFabFitFun and submit a video explaining their enthusiasm for the company as well as its member community. 

In addition, the company will also partner with non-profit The Kindness Factory for a "one million acts of kindness" goal. In lieu of donating any money to the charity, FabFitFun will ask members to post on social media about a good deed they've done or experienced using the hashtags #OneSmallAct and #ThanksAMillion. Participants will then be entered into a draw to win prizes like beauty and lifestyle gift bundles.
