As part of her new role, the actress has made her debut as the face of the brand's Capucines bag campaign. In the campaign, photographed by Mert and Marcus, Zendaya is captured posing fresh-faced against the backdrop of the renowned E-1027 house, designed by architect Eileen Gray, posing with the house's iconic handbag.

For her first campaign with Louis Vuitton, Zendaya also worked with her long-time stylist Law Roach, who is now retired from celebrity styling.

The Capucines bag was first launched in 2013 and is named after 4 rue Neuve-des-Capucines in Paris, the location of Louis Vuitton's first store and workshop, which opened in 1854. The bag is crafted in full-grain Taurillon leather and comes in multiple styles including as a hand, shoulder, and cross-body bag.

“The new Louis Vuitton house ambassador embodies the audacious spirit of the Maison, exuding a bold, feminine allure in the #LVCapucines campaign,” the fashion house said in a social statement.

Zendaya made a surprise appearance at Louis Vuitton's Paris Fashion Week show in March. The Golden Globe-winning actress has equally worked with fashion and beauty brands such as Lancôme, Bvlgari, and, most recently, Valentino.
