Luisa Spagnoli opens first U.S. store in Palo Alto, California

Italian apparel company Luisa Spagnoli opened its first concept store in the United States at the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, California on May 5.

Known for its women’s tailored apparel, Luisa Spagnoli offers separates, dresses, eveningwear and outerwear made of Italian fabrics.
 
The company has experienced increasing revenue, which may be why it plans to open additional U.S. stores, as well as in the United Kingdom.

Luisa Spagnoli founded apparel brand Luisa Spagnoli in 1928 in Umbria, Italy. Today, Nicoletta Spagnoli, the great-granddaughter of the company’s founder, serves as its chief executive officer, president and creative director. The company operates 152 standalone boutiques in Italy and an additional 41 boutiques globally, as well as an e-commerce site.
