Located at 944 W North Avenue, Lululemon Lincoln Park is also the brand’s largest store to date, covering 20,000 square-feet over two floors. In a press statement, Lululemon said it consulted its ambassador network to create the new store’s design and concept, resulting in a space that will host events, classes, networking opportunities and workshops for ambassadors and guests.

Anchored on the brand’s ‘sweatlife’ mentality, the store will support a team of 45 ambassadors who will lead a range of fitness, meditation and nutrition classes; offer two ‘sweat studios’, as well as shower facilities, locker rooms and a cocoon-like space dedicated to self-guided and group meditation. There will also be personal development workshops led by ambassadors and flexible open concept workstations and lounges, and a ‘Fuel Space’ offering seasonal food, smoothies, a full coffee bar, beer and wine.

When it comes to product, Lululemon Lincoln Park will carry a range of men’s and women’s gear fit for running, training, yoga, the office and travel. In addition, the new store will pilot a trial program for guests who want to test-wear Lululemon products while taking sweat classes at the in-store studios.

In support of the company’s philanthropic partnership with Here to Be partner, I Grow Chicago, 2% of all class fees at the Lincoln Park store will benefit the local nonprofit focused on providing development resources to the neighborhood of Englewood.

Lululemon opened its first store in Chicago in 2006.
