Mackage to open first retail store in Toronto

Montreal-designed label Mackage announced on Friday that it will open its first retail store in Toronto at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre on September 8.
 
The boutique will carry Mackage’s full line of classic womenswear and menswear jackets and coats, handbags and accessories, along with ‘Mackage Mini', the brands’ outwear line for children.

 
“Toronto is one of our favourite Canadian cities so it was really important to be able to provide our loyal customers here with an opportunity to have a dedicated shopping experience,” says Elisa Dahan, Mackage co-creative director, in a news statement. “Having a store that reflects our aesthetic and showcases the entire collection allows shoppers to understand who we are as a company and become immersed in the brand.”
 
The contemporary outerwear brand first announced plans to expand in Canada this past April. The Eaton Centre location will be the brand’s third storefront. Another boutique is slated to open in Toronto at Yorkdale Shopping Centre on October 17. Mackage opened their first Canadian retail store in Laval, Quebec last year, in addition to a location in New York’s Soho district. 

The Eaton Centre store, located at 220 Yonge St., can be found on the third floor.
