Located at 667 Madison Avenue and opened on November 15, the flagship store is the only standalone Mark Cross boutique. Inside, visitors can find a wide range of the brand’s seasonal offerings for women and men, in addition to future boutique exclusives.

The heritage leather firm said the new location marks “a significant shift in the brand's overall retail strategy,” allowing the brand to connect in-person with their clientele in New York and with international visitors, adding a new point of contact with consumers on top of the brand’s e-commerce and wholesale channels.

"This is a new chapter within our consumer-centric strategy, and one that allows us to serve our customer in the best possible way – both online and offline,” said Ulrik Garde Due, Mark Cross president and CEO. “We see this as a pivotal moment for Mark Cross and a clear indication of our ability to be at the forefront of the constantly evolving retail marketplace."

The boutique is connected to the neighboring Naturopathica store, a natural beauty and wellness brand.

Founded in 1845 as a saddlery in Boston, Mark Cross rose to prominence when the brand’s ‘Mark Cross Overnight Case’ appeared in the hands of Grace Kelly in Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 film, ‘Rear Window.’  In addition to the brand's brick-and-mortar and online presence, its pieces are available via e-retailers including Net-A-Porter and Moda Operandi
