Massimo Dutti opens first west coast US store

Massimo Dutti on Friday opens the doors to its Costa Mesa, California store at South Coast Plaza. The new store is the first from the Inditex-owned brand to open in the western United States.

The 8,891-square-foot store features a warm, contemporary interior featuring walnut wood, brass, leather, and dark marble materials. The South Coast Plaza store will carry the Spanish brand’s men’s, women’s and accessory collections.

Massimo Dutti was founded in 1985 in Spain with a men’s collection, and in 1995, the brand expanded into womenswear. Today, the brand has a presence in over 700 stores in 68 countries worldwide. The Spanish brand is under the Inditex umbrella with Zara, Zara Home, Pull&Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, and Utrque.
