Direct-to-consumer jewelry brand Mejuri is expanding to the west coast with the opening of its first storefront in Vancouver.

Located in the trendy neighbourhood of Kitsilano, the boutique, opening Dec. 10., will resemble existing locations and provide shoppers with an interactive space to discover and try on the company’s jewelry pieces. In store, items like mirrors and jewelry displays were all custom made and designed in-house.

The expansion of Vancouver is part of larger growth plans. In September, the company said that it reached 1 million customers and 2 million pieces sold, revealing plans for three new retail stores.

The company currently operates seven stores across North America and the U.K. To date, in Canada, Toronto has served as the brand’s only outpost. It will also open a second location in Los Angeles before the end of the year and recently opened a store in London’s Marylebone area, marking its first physical retail push outside of North America.

Besides expanding with physical locations, Mejuri has also been minding its environmental footprint with a focus on sourcing sustainable materials.

Mejuri’s latest location in Kitsilano will open at 2166 West 4th Ave.
