Men’s grooming and lifestyle club The Gents Place is expanding its footprint, announcing the opening of two new locations in Chicago. The two locations, both franchise-owned and operated, will open their doors in the fall of 2017.

New franchisee Peter Terracina is taking the southern retail concept north, opening a location in Chicago’s Gold Coast and Lincoln Park neighborhoods. The first location will be opened in fall 2017, with the second following in summer 2018.

Ben Davis, founder, and president of The Gents Place told the press, "For nearly a decade, The Gents Place has experienced tremendous success serving men in Dallas and Kansas City, and we are thrilled to expand our footprint to Chicago. Peter is part of a growing trend of millennial entrepreneurs and we're confident his knowledge and business acumen will help us succeed in Chicago. The interest in men's grooming is irrefutably at an all-time high and The Gents Place is positioned to grow rapidly as we capitalize on this trend. Over the next several months, we're expecting to sign several additional franchise agreements to develop clubs across the country."

The Gents Place offers a very unique business model – inspired by the idea of an old-world speak-easy, The Gents Place offers all the grooming needs of a modern gentleman in a more social, comfortable, lounge-like environment. Each location offers hair, skin, and shave services, alongside shoe shining and body massages. On top of quality grooming, the shops are also decked out with a full bar, pool tables, high-def TV screens, steam showers, and a host of exclusive membership services.

Currently, The Gents Place boasts locations in Texas and Kansas. The brand is looking for franchisees to help them expand to other states across the country.
