New York Fashion Week will be leaving its residency at the Skylight at Moynihan in favor of a new location.

New York Fashion Week - New York Daily News

Skylight at Moynihan Station, located at 360 West 33rd Street and run by IMG, has been one of the biggest NYFW locations for the past three seasons. IMG locations host around 60-70 of the 150 shows during the week. Amtrak, who recently purchased the space, has plans to make the space into a train station.

To replace Moynihan Station, Skylight Clarkson Square (located at 550 Washington Street in West SoHo) will now host the majority of the shows. A new location, Industria at 775 Washington Street, will also be opening this season. This space will host strictly designer presentations meaning now, the majority of NYFW events will be located in West SoHo.

The news comes after the announcement that many big-name brands will be switching up what city they will be showing at this season.

Raf Simons is leaving Paris and Milan behind for New York City, while Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, Rachel Zoe, Tom Ford and Hugo Boss will be leaving behind illustrious New York Fashion Week in favor of California or opting for no show at all.
