Lil Yachty's first collection as Nautica's Creative Designer has launched. The nineteen piece heritage-inspired capsule collection includes puffer jackets and plaids that invoke Nautica's vintage sailing look.

The limited-edition collection consists of apparel and accessories in bright primary colors. Color blocked polos, graphic tees, cargo shorts, knit activewear tops and bottoms, and bomber jackets are included in the collection. The collection also includes a ripstop down puffer coat, Sherpa fleece bomber jackets and reversible fleece lined bucket hats.

From a branding standpoint, Lil Yachty's "Sailing Team" logo updates heritage Nautica logo graphics and is remixed with new colors and treatments. Flocked "N" logo patches and mesh detailing are mixed with 80s and 90s tartan plaid prints to create modern looks stemming from the brand's archives. Inspiration was also pulled from vintage pieces personally owned by Lil Yachty.

Brendan Sullivan, President of VF Sportswear said of the collection, "Not only does it reflect the Nautica brand's DNA with its bold colors and logos, it also shows Lil Yachty's unique and authentic style, which will really excite his fanbase."

Earlier this year, Grammy-nominated artist Lil Yachty was named a Creative Designer for Nautica. His fanbase includes 4.2 million Instagram followers and 500 million live streams. He has been featured in the brand's digital ad campaigns. This is his debut collaboration with Nautica.

To celebrate the official November 13 launch, there will be a meet and greet at Nautica's Citadel store in Los Angeles. Pieces in the capsule collection range in price from $40 to $168. The collection arrives today in select stores and online through Nautica's e-commerce site.
