Laura Vinroot Poole designed Tabor with her husband, Perry Poole, who is responsible for the award-winning concepts of Capitol, Laura’s women’s boutique that opened in 1997, and Poole Shop. Tabor features personal shopping, in-house alterations and closet curation, and the store carries brands such as Ralph Lauren, Thom Browne, Dries Van Noten, Rag & Bone, Mark McNairy, Steven Alan, Alex Mill, Cuisse de Grenouille and others.

“I was afraid of opening a store for men,” Laura said to Garden & Gun. ”I didn’t think I could understand them. In the South, women tend to shop for their husbands so I was still selling to many of my regular customers. And I understand them very well.” She eventually gained the confidence to open the shop.

Designer, Alex Drexler of Alex Mill will be in attendance at the Grand Opening event and all members of the Tabor staff will be dressed in Alex Mill.
