Nike strengthens management of Retail and Women's

For several months, Nike has been expanding its global reach. The American brand has stepped up the number of store openings and is testing new concepts. To aid in these developments, Nike has create a new general manager of Nike Stores position.

To fill the role, the brand has chosen Heidi O’Neill, who has 15 years of experience with company most recently serving as general manager of Nike Women’s. She will oversee the consistency of Nike’s worldwide store network (both company owned as well as those held by the partners) and the development of new store concepts.

The brand’s leadership has chosen its current executive director of global merchandising, Amy Mountain, who joined Nike in 2005, to replace O’Neill as general manager of Nike Women’s.
